Leandra characterization

Main Character: I’m gonna use ‘Leandra’ and ‘she/her’ because that’s where the story begins. Leandra’s of average height, kind of skinny, with hazel eyes and short, medium brown hair. She tends to wear baggy T-shirts, paired with hoodies, pants, and shorts, depending on the weather. She’s an introvert, but more than that, she’s closed off. She never displays a whole lot of emotion on her face. She’ll sass you if she’s comfortable, otherwise, she’ll be just functionally polite and give short answers to questions. If you back her into a corner, she’ll just stop meeting your eyes, and if you make her mad, it’s scary, there is nothing in those eyes. Happy runs the same way, closest she gets is a big grin. She is so bad at feelings and communication it’s not even funny. The two things most important to her are her friendship with best friend Jimena, to whom she’s fiercely loyal, and maintaining her own autonomy/sense of self. She’s excellent at Spanish and also enjoys computer games. She loves alternative music, especially Anberlin. She’s aware she’s pansexual, but not having heard the word, identifies as bisexual. She came out a while ago. Her parents were fine with it, and so was Jimena, though it caused a snag in their friendship for a little while. She’s never dated—she keeps too much to her-and-Jimena to get close to a whole bunch of other people, and a lot of people think she’s weird between the Spanish and the clothes. Probably a Slytherin. Agnostic. A self-harm addict. By the end of the story, Leandra goes by Casey, uses they pronouns, and identifies as genderqueer.
